Actual Texture Actual texture is also known as Real Texture. It is texture that can be felt with your hands using your sense of Touch, Examples of artwork with actual textures that can be felt are sculptures and collage (items glued to a surface). Simulated Texture Simulated texture is also known as Visual Texture. It can be detected by using your sense of Sight. It is the illusion of a 3-dimensional surface. Examples of artwork with simulated textures are drawings and paintings. |
